How check-in works
Check-in at Torrumbarry Weir Holiday Park is contactless, and that is how every arrival works, not just late ones. The park has a boom gate, and the gate code is sent to you on the morning of arrival. Sites check in from 1pm and check out by 11am. Cabins check in from 2pm and check out by 10am.
There are no fixed reception hours. The managers live on site and move around the park through the day, so they may be gardening, cleaning or helping another guest. There is a phone number on the reception door if you need help. Guests are encouraged to be self-sufficient.
Have these ready
Your booking confirmation, which also carries the Wi-Fi password, and the boom gate code from the morning of arrival. Bring your own drinking water bottles to fill at the camp kitchen refill station, as the taps around the park run on river water and are not for drinking. Bring your own firewood if you want a small campfire, and your own washing powder for the laundry.
Once you are in
The roads through the park are gravel and the speed limit is 5 km/h. Park at your site or cabin. A second car or boat trailer is included, but space is limited, so bring only what you need. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am, with no music during those hours. The park does not take day visitors.
Pets are welcome on all sites but not in the cabins, must be under your control at all times, and cannot be left unattended at your site.
Stock up on the way
There is no kiosk or shop at the park. The BP Torrumbarry roadhouse, about 10 minutes away, is open 6am to 7pm daily for fuel, ice, bread, eggs, drinks and breakfast basics. Echuca, about 30 minutes away, has supermarkets and medical services.
