Rode into park after a hectic day hitting the trails just after closing time for the shop. The staff were just about to lock up. They reopened, fixed us up with tucker and a few tasty beverages, cutlery that we forgot, and sorted a fire pit and wood. Absolutely above and beyond great service. Camp ground was soft for pegs and facilities spotless. Highly recommended.

What our guests say on Google
What guests mention most
Three things come up again and again: the camp kitchen, the location, and the serenity. The park sits directly on Torrumbarry Weir on the Murray River, inside Gunbower National Park, and the camp kitchen, with its free barbecues, picnic tables and drinking water, is where people end up in the evening.
Who keeps coming back
Fishing crews, families, boaties, people visiting their annual site, birdwatchers, walkers and kayakers. The park has 112 annual siteholders, which says something about how people feel about the place. Families like the fenced summer pool, the playgrounds and the open grassed area. Fishing crews and boaties like having the ramp on site and the weir splitting the fishing water from the ski water.
In one honest sentence
Great facilities, fantastic location, awesome for boating, water skiing and family time.

Google“Great place. Stayed here heaps as a kid and it was always a well kept park. Used the general store in Jan when we where staying on the river. Good selection in the little store and sell grog at a pretty reasonable price for the location. Only thing I can recommend is hold more frozen loafs of bread. Staff are really nice and welcoming.”
