Reedy Lagoon is a wetland out past Cohuna on the floodplain between the Murray and Gunbower Creek, inside Gunbower Island State Forest.
It's part of the 26,400 hectare Gunbower Island floodplain, one of the wetlands recognised internationally for its birdlife, native mammals and frogs. Canoes go out on the lagoon too, and there are walking trails around Gunbower Island and Reedy Lagoon.
Birdwatching is one of the drawcards here, alongside canoeing and fishing.
None of this is inside the park itself, so it's worth planning ahead before you head out to Reedy Lagoon.
