Fishing at Torrumbarry Weir
The park sits directly on Torrumbarry Weir on the Murray River. Downstream of the weir is the fishing side, while upstream is where the boating and jet skiing happen.
People fish here for Murray cod, golden perch (yellowbelly), redfin, silver perch and carp. The Murray cod closed season runs from September to November.
You need a Victorian recreational fishing licence to fish here. The park does not sell licences, so buy one online or from a licensed agent before you arrive.
The park boat ramp is on the downstream side and is included in your stay. Tinnies, ski boats and kayaks all launch there.
There is no fish cleaning station at the park, and no jetty or pontoon.
