Torrumbarry Weir Holiday Park takes pets right through the park. All three cabin ranges, Deluxe Riverview, Fleetwood Rainbow and Southern Cross, are pet friendly, with a maximum of two pets per cabin. Pets are just as welcome on the 12 powered and 13 unpowered sites, so you've got options if you're in a cabin or bringing your own van or tent.

There is no pet fee and no peak-period restrictions, so the dog can come in the school holidays as easily as in the middle of winter. If you're booking online, add your pet under occupants and the per-night price will update to reflect it. For anything you're not sure about, email the park first, with the phone number there as a backup for anything urgent on the day.

Keep your pet on a lead and under your control at all times, and never leave it unattended at your site or shut in a cabin. Inside the cabins, pets stay off the beds and the furniture. Clean up after your pet as you go, both around the sites and on the walking tracks.

There are informal walking tracks around the park for a stretch of the legs, handy for a quick walk before breakfast or after you've set up camp. For the bigger tracks in the area, most guests drive, so it's worth planning ahead if you want a longer outing with your pet.

There is no dog wash at the park. The taps around the park run on river water and are not for drinking, so fill the dog bowl at the refill station in the camp kitchen instead. Keeping to these basics helps the park stay pet friendly for every guest who brings one along.
